Dear SASsy,
I am having trouble snagging my Mr. Right. Every guy I talk to says he doesn't want a relationship and that talking to me is cool, but a few weeks later, he's taken!!! I don't get it! I just want my Mr. Right who takes me on romantic cruises and holds my hand as we walk in the surf. I just want my Mr. Right who comes to comfort me whenever I need him. I want my Mr. Right to treat me like Edward does Bella in Twilight. I want my Mr. Right to be all for me.
To be honest, SASsy, I'm ready to give up on my search for him. I don't think he really exists. I want to keep searching, but I'm tired of being alone. SASsy, please help me, what should I do?
-Missing Mr. Right

Dear Missing Mr. Right
I think you should take things a little less "Hollywood". Guys are more simple than what you see on the big screen; no guy is going to be an Edward. I also think you are being a little impatient and you are trying to force the beginning of your relationship with men you first meet.
Try being yourself and finding a guy who likes you for you. Try to get to know someone without the pressures of him being Mr. Right. Get to know him for him and don't spend time trying to fit him into the Mr. Right mold.

Dear SASsy,
My boyfriend won't stop playing XBOX. It's all he ever does. I want to go out, spend time together besides me sitting next to him on the couch watching him play Call of Duty. I can't even talk to him while he plays! He just yells at me if I try to. What should I do?
- Tired of These Games

Dear Tired of These Games,
I have had the same problem with boyfriends in the past. You should try taking an active interest in what he's playing. You want him to be interested in things you enjoy, right? Ask him to teach you how to play. It will be something the two of you can do together, and it can even strengthen the bond you two already have. After I learned to play Call of Duty (I'm still not very good, mind you) my boyfriend and I would play together all the time! It's actually fun! It even gives you something to talk about. And while some women may be afraid that playing video games would make their boyfriend see them as "one of the guys", all the other womanly things you do for him will keep those thoughts at bay.
